We strive to work with the best practitioners, across the country, in all towns and cities.  With real experience in delivering  counselling and rehabilitation services in clinical environments, we know first hand what it takes to deliver a quality service. 

That is why we have placed emphasis in taking time to build a panel of therapists dictated by quality as opposed to defining our network simply on the basis of largesse.  Experience has taught us that working with the right therapist is key in providing quality, consistent outcomes. 


Accredited therapists

Therapists are drawn from a the most recognised, accredited bodies in the industry:
 

  • British Psychological Society (BPS)
  • British Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapy (BABCP)
  • British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
  • The United Kingdom Counsel for Psychotherapy (UKCP)
  • EMDR Association for UK & Ireland (EMDR Europe)

All therapists must have minimum and relevant supervised experience, whilst holding up to date Private indemnity and Public Liability insurance. Therapists must also be electronically compliant,  agree to Service Level Agreements for administration and reporting, be clinic based and for the clinic to meet professional standards of care.

Clinical Governance

Lloyd Counselling has devised clinical governance policy to ensure treating therapists are clear what treatment pathways, guidelines, risk assessments and set outcome measures, are expected of them in treating individuals. Lloyd’s Clinical Services Director has also placed emphasis on measures set out by NICE and the BACP Ethical Framework. Concerning the clinical best practice and evidence based intervention. 

Auditing 

The Clinical Services Director and Lloyd Counselling Senior management systematically audit and reviews reports, evaluating clinical notes and treatment information.
